Effective communication skills are crucial for mathematicians, and I firmly believe that the success of a talk is determined by audience engagement and what they can learn from it. I always appreciate when people take the time to attend a talk of mine, and I feel that I owe it to them to present in a way that is engaging and informative. I am continually striving to improve my abilities in this area, and I always appreciate constructive feedback!
