IgorFest: A workshop in honour of Igor Shparlinski's 70th birthday

University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, 17-18 February, 2026

This is a two days workshop in honour of Igor Shparlinski's 70th birthday. We will celebrate Igor's many outstanding contributions to number theory and computer science, as well as his continuous and unconditional friendship, guidance and support to colleagues, students and postdocs alike.

General Outline:

The meeting is planned to start on Tuesday, 17 February, at 10:00 am and end on Wednesday, 18 February, at 4:55 pm. Please note that the talks and coffee breaks are of different lengths.
There is no registration, everyone is welcome.
All talks will take place in the rooms H13, Lawrence East, 3085 (Tuesday morning session) and 4082 (Tuesday afternoon session and Wednesday).
We will hold a reception on Tuesday, 17 February, 5:30-7:00 pm (just after the last talk of the day). Location: the common room on level 3.
