My name is Tarn Duong and I am
pleased to meet you, in a virtual sort of way. Please email me at
tduong(at)pasteur(dot)fr.
So you can have some idea of what I look like in a non-virtual way,
this is a photo of me with my nephew.
I'm now a post-doc in the
Quantitative Image Analysis Group,
at the
Pasteur Institute,
in Paris, France.
Though I'm not an image analyst by training. From 2005 to 2007,
I was a post-doc at the Department of
Statistics, at the University of New South
Wales, Sydney, Australia. Before this, I studied
for a doctorate in computational statistics in 2001 - 2004 with
Prof. Martin Hazelton.
My undergraduate studies were mostly in mathematics, statistics and computer science,
though there was a smattering of French literature and international
politics too.
