Dear Colleagues,

The 5th International Congress on Industrial and Applied Mathematics - ICIAM 2003 - is being held in Sydney on 7-11 July this year.

ICIAM 2003 will include a set of minisymposia on topics related to Clifford algebras, Clifford analysis and their applications. These Clifford minisymposia are intended to provide an opportunity to present applications of Clifford algebras and Clifford analysis to the wider mathematical community.

Each minisymposium will consist of two sessions of two hours each, with up to 4 related talks in each session. For details, see the list of confirmed speakers and topics.

If you would like to participate in the Clifford minisymposia at ICIAM 2003, please register for ICIAM via the ICIAM site, and then contact either Soeren Krausshar (Ghent University, Belgium) or Paul Leopardi (UNSW, Australia ).

Even if you cannot attend ICIAM 2003, you may still be able to participate by reviewing submitted talks.

Please note:

• IMPORTANT DEADLINE:

  DEADLINE FOR PAYMENT OF THE REGULAR REGISTRATION FEE: 31 March, 2003

• ICIAM 2003 is being held in conjunction with a number of embedded meetings, including the 6th Australian-New Zealand Mathematics Convention, which will include topics in pure mathematics.
• The organisers of ICIAM 2003 do not have funds for travel or other expenses for minisymposium organisers or speakers, or for waiving or reducing of registration fees, but there are discounts for early registration, and there may be financial support from your home country. For example, the ICIAM 99 fund (UK).
• The International Astronomical Union Congress will also be held in Sydney during 13-26 July next year.
