Subject: IMOS-2 Announcement

Dear Node and Facility Leaders and Operator Contacts

The next IMOS Node and Facility Leaders meeting is planned to be held on
18-19 February 2008 in Adelaide.  Please mark these dates in your calendar.
IMOS Office will cover the accommodation, meals and meeting costs.  Airfares
will come from your Facility funding.

The purpose of the meeting is to review progress in implementation and to
outline the 2008/09 Annual Business Plan.  Attached are the draft Agenda and
the proposed list of participants.  Note that we are commencing at lunch on
the first day so that most of you can travel to Adelaide in the morning.  We
plan to end early enough on the second day to get home that night.  This
makes the agenda quite tight.  Please see if you have enough time for your
presentation(s) and/or if any items need to be added.  We can stay an extra
night if more time is required.  

Facility Leader's presentations should cover their progress in
implementation and plans for 2008/09, including outcomes of the call for
proposals for access to IMOS infrastructure that will be issued in late
August 2007.  Please comment on the draft Agenda by 24 August, and also
advise if the meeting will clash with other plans you may have.  No comment
will be taken to be approval.

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone again and seeing the outcome of Year
1.
