Water and Energy Cycle of the Murray-Darling Basin Workshop 2009

Significant research has gone into modelling the water budget of the MDB over recent years and a workshop was held in Melbourne in April/May 2007 to assess progress made and suggest future directions. The objectives of this current workshop are to

  1. review progress in water budget modelling of the MDB made since the 2007 workshop,
  2. provide an overview of the observations taken within the MDB and their availability,
  3. enhance collaborations and complementarity of research conducted at government organisations and the University Sector.

The workshop is being held at the Climate Change Research Center (CCRC), University of New South Wales, 6-7 April 2009.
