Impact of research: (Total number of non-self citations) / (Total number of articles published or in press) = 1.20

Chris Tisdell's MCQ for 2006:

(Total number of non-self citations from articles appearing in 2006 to my papers from 2001-5) divided by (the total number of my papers published over 2001-5) = 21 / 28 = 0.75.

Average MCQ for journals featuring Chris Tisdell's publications:
2005: 0.241 (the MCQ average for all journals in 2005 is 0.213)
2006: 0.292 (the MCQ average for all journals in 2006 is yet to be determined)


The Times newspaper recently announced the rankings for the world's top 200 universities. UNSW was placed at #36.

Sciencewatch recently announced the rankings for the world's top 20 Mathematics departments. UNSW was placed at #14 on the quality index.
