Modelling the Fluorescence Assays
There are several ways of employing the HA-GLUT4 construct to label
GLUT4 moving about in the cells under various conditions.
Below are links to the models for the two most common assays, the
uptake assay and the internalisation assay. Due to the overlap of
(probably) many processes underlying exo- and endo-cytosis, these are
usually treated as 2-compartmental models, as outlined in the
descriptions.
