Welcome to Yanan's Homepage

After completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Melbourne with the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, I then went on to complete a PhD at the University of Bristol. After brief stays at Canterbury, kent and San Juan, Puerto Rico, I am now at the Department of Statistics, University of New South Wales.

Research

My research interest include Bayesian analysis, Markov chain Monte Carlo methods, Computational statistics, Statistical applications in ecology, Mark-Capture-Recovery analysis and related model selection problems. Some selected papers can be found here.
